Transformation of Crissy Field

Neighborhood: Crissy Field

Description

Looking into the prehistoric past but also into the future, this tour shows us the most beautiful and iconic views of San Francisco Bay. You will visit a part of San Francisco that was once a peaceful marshland inhabited by native Americans, before falling under Spanish, then Mexican, then US military control. What lies ahead and how might climate change affect this unique area of San Francisco?

Join us for a lovely walk along the bay; for those seeking a longer stroll, after the tour, you can continue to the base of the Golden Gate Bridge.
