Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society observed annually during the month of March. Join us on Saturday, March 18 at 11:00 AM for our Pacific Heights Mansion tour and learn about an accomplished local woman.
You will be introduced to Julia Morgan, a San Francisco native, and a towering figure in the world of architecture. Did you know that Julia was the first woman accepted into the field of Architecture at the Ecole Des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1898? You will visit the modest, unassuming Pacific Heights homes she owned and lived in from the 1920’s the until the 1950’s and hear more about her anything-but-modest, amazing trailblazing career and accomplishments.
