San Francisco City Guides and the San Francisco Historical Society are thrilled to announce the Seventh Annual Charles Fracchia Prize for original research and writing about San Francisco history. This competition is open to all high school students in San Francisco.
Interested students must submit an original, properly cited work of 1,200-1,600 words that focuses on this year’s subject – Fighting for What’s Right. The deadline to submit is April 12, 2026.
