We’ve really missed all of you since we had to pause our tours back in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But lately, City Guides has been working hard behind the scenes planning for our re-opening – hopefully soon!
When we are able to reopen, we will be coming back to a city with a lot of different rules for this kind of shared activity. We’re going to do all we can to keep walkers and our fabulous volunteer guides safe, and do our part to keep the virus contained.
Even though we don’t have an exact day for reopening quite yet, our guides are anxiously awaiting that day, because they want to get back on the streets of our city and do what they do best: share our love of San Francisco’s wonderful history, lore, characters, neighborhoods and diversity with all of you. We love our walkers, and as a small nonprofit, we also depend on you: 80% of our operating expenses come from your generous donations.
