The weather in San Francisco during March is usually a bit warmer than in most parts of the United States. It is comfortably cool and may bring some rain. Most days are pleasant, accompanied by a gentle breeze, making it an ideal time for a visit. Additionally, March is Women’s History Month, and San Francisco offers eight tours highlighting the women who helped shape our City by the Bay.
With high temperatures in the 60s and lows in the 40s, we recommend packing layers for your visit. San Francisco’s weather in March can be unpredictable; some days are cool and breezy, while others are warm and sunny. Bringing layers will allow you to adjust your clothing as needed. Do not forget to wear comfortable walking shoes, especially for our tours.
Remember to set your clocks forward on March 8th as we return to Daylight Saving Time. March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day, and our magnificent city offers a variety of Irish pubs and restaurants for celebrating the holiday.
We hope to see you soon on a City Guides tour!
