The Yerba Buena Gardens Festival, an independent presenting organization, is dedicated to enriching the vitality and quality of life in the parks and open spaces of Yerba Buena Gardens. The weekend sessions offer a unique cultural experience, featuring multicultural concerts on Saturdays at lunchtime and movie nights, with a diverse and exciting lineup that will pique your interest.
Embark on our “Architectural Gems South of Market” tour, a journey through one of San Francisco’s most intriguing and least understood neighborhoods, South of Market. Tucked between modern architectural marvels, including San Francisco’s tallest building, are testaments to over 150 years of urban evolution. Our walk delves into a unique San Francisco story that is sometimes gritty, sometimes great, but always deeply rooted in the city’s history. The tour will be led by experienced guides sharing fascinating insights and stories about the neighborhood.

San Francisco Jazz Festival June 13-15
SFJAZZ explores the full spectrum of jazz—from its origins in the African American and Afro-Caribbean communities, to its diverse and evolving expressions worldwide today. The SFJAZZ Center is located on the corner of Franklin and Fell Streets in the heart of San Francisco’s arts district.
San Francisco City Guides celebrates the arts district with a tour to hear the astonishing story of San Francisco’s performing arts—opera, symphony, ballet, and jazz—their development path, and their homes here in San Francisco’s Performing Arts Hub. Nestled within a handful of blocks are more than 15 venues, accommodating over 11,000 patrons.

Juneteenth Freedom Celebration, June 14, 2025
Juneteenth, a significant holiday marking the end of slavery in the United States, also known as Emancipation Day, is a time for deep reflection and respectful celebration. The Juneteenth Freedom Celebration Festival pays tribute to the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans and honors African American culture, recognizing their contributions and progress. The Juneteenth SF Freedom Celebration will transform eight blocks in the Fillmore District into a vibrant celebration of freedom and unity.
Celebrate Juneteenth by learning about America’s first Black Millionaire, presented by San Francisco City Guides. A biracial sea captain named William Leidesdorff, active in 1840s San Francisco, played a central role in the American conquest of California, created multiple essential institutions, and amassed one of the most enormous fortunes in the state… all while passing as white. Discover San Francisco in its earliest days and learn about this fascinating individual.

North Beach Festival June 14-15, 2025
The historic North Beach Festival will take over the North Beach neighborhood. It will feature live music at multiple stages, dozens of vendors selling gourmet food and arts and crafts, and stunning Italian street paintings.
Discover North Beach and its rich history as San Francisco’s Little Italy, where a swarm of immigrants in the 1910s established the authentic Italian character that remains its defining quality. San Francisco Pride June 28-29, 2025
The 55th Annual Pride Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 28, in San Francisco’s Civic Center. It features a Main Stage, many community spaces and stages, an 18+ zone, and an LGBTQ+ street fair with over 300 artists and exhibitors. The world-famous Pride Parade will be on Sunday, June 29, on Market Street.
San Francisco takes pride in offering our tour, Castro: Tales of the Village. Follow this neighborhood’s journey through the hands of Scandinavian and Irish immigrants, who started businesses, social organizations, and political groups to create a community. You will learn about the evolution of Castro’s architecture, historic businesses, and the people and places that made Castro one of the epicenters of the gay rights movement—a tradition that continues today.
